Legal information

Terms of Service

These terms govern access to the DreamLife Treatment Center website and related online communications.

Effective date: July 14, 2026 Last updated: July 14, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and DreamLife LLC, doing business as DreamLife Treatment Center (“DreamLife,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using a website, landing page, chat widget, or online service that links to these Terms, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the website or related online services.

2. Website information is not medical advice

Website content is provided for general informational and educational purposes. It is not a substitute for an evaluation, diagnosis, treatment plan, or advice from a licensed healthcare professional who understands your circumstances.

Using the website or sending a message does not create a clinician-patient relationship, guarantee that DreamLife will accept you into a program, or establish eligibility for housing, treatment, financial support, or any other service.

3. Emergency and crisis notice

Do not use this website, chat widget, email, or SMS for an emergency.

Call 911 for immediate danger. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support. DreamLife’s website and messaging channels may not be monitored continuously.

4. Eligibility and authority

You may use the website only if you can legally enter into these Terms. If you use the website on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Parents, legal guardians, providers, and authorized representatives may contact DreamLife on another person’s behalf, but they must not misrepresent their authority or disclose information they are not authorized to share.

5. Electronic communications

When you contact DreamLife electronically, you consent to receive responsive communications through the channel you used or another channel you requested. Electronic communications may include chat, email, telephone calls, and text messages.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and for maintaining access to the device, telephone number, or email account you use.

6. Text messaging

Text-message consent is collected through the DreamLife chat widget. The widget displays the applicable disclosure before submission. Our full SMS Terms are incorporated into these Terms.

  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out.
  • Reply HELP for help.
  • Consent is not a condition of treatment, housing consideration, a donation, or any purchase.

Do not send highly sensitive medical, insurance, financial, or identity information by ordinary text message. Mobile carriers and platform providers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Programs, housing, scholarships, and availability

Descriptions of programs, housing, treatment, referrals, scholarships, training, partnerships, or other services are not guarantees. Availability, eligibility, admission, clinical appropriateness, funding, schedules, locations, and program details may change.

DreamLife may require additional screening, documentation, consent, agreements, or evaluation before providing any service. DreamLife may decline, limit, refer, suspend, or discontinue a request or service when appropriate and permitted by law.

8. Donations, purchases, and support

Any donation, merchandise purchase, or payment may be processed by a third-party provider and may be subject to additional terms. Unless DreamLife expressly provides a written receipt or statement confirming tax treatment, the website does not represent that a payment is tax-deductible.

Descriptions of the intended impact of donations are statements of mission and planned use, not guarantees of a specific individual outcome, number of people served, housing placement, or clinical result.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, abusive, or harmful activity.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation or authority.
  • Upload malicious code, interfere with security, probe systems, scrape restricted content, or disrupt website operation.
  • Submit content that violates privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, or other rights.
  • Use automated systems to send spam, excessive requests, or unsolicited communications.

We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or access poses a risk to DreamLife, users, or others.

10. Information and content you submit

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant DreamLife a limited right to use, store, transmit, and process that content as reasonably necessary to respond, provide requested services, maintain records, operate the website, and comply with law.

You represent that you have the right to provide the content and that doing so does not violate another person’s rights or legal obligations.

11. Intellectual property

The website, including its text, graphics, logos, designs, software, and arrangement, is owned by or licensed to DreamLife and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, DreamLife grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the website for lawful personal or organizational information purposes.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, create derivative works from, publicly display, or exploit website content without written permission, except as allowed by law.

12. Third-party websites and services

The website may link to third-party websites, maps, payment processors, social networks, service providers, or resources. DreamLife does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, privacy, or practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms.

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and related online services are provided “as is” and “as available.” DreamLife disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and security.

DreamLife does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, that communications will be delivered on time, or that website content will always be complete or current.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DreamLife and its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the website or these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DreamLife and its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the website, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit.

16. Changes and termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the website at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the “Last updated” date. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

17. Governing law and severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that is not otherwise resolved will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Maryland, unless applicable law requires another forum.

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
